Windows Defender in Windows 10 is pretty darn good. As a matter of fact I primarily leave that running on customer computers that are using Windows 10 rather than installing any other heavier AV. Top it off with a nice install of MBAM. I'm sure third party premium versions of AV's are seeing a decline in sales.

I use the same setup and I am worry free for the most part and I really like the idea of my main AV being built into the OS I recommend Windows Defender for all home users.
I am still using Windows Defender as my main protection.
I also use Windows Defender; love it
Windows Defender has really come on since 8.1
Thankfully I don't have to worry about which AV is better
