Hi Big Grin
You wouldn't believe what I did to have this error... I first change ownership of c to everyone with full control also and everything was doing fine until I.. later change ownership to myself and delete the other Accounts like trusted installer.. sys..
That's the whole story..
I was specting I could add users and permissions the same way in cmd, I can't access to regback
I think you are having a hard time understanding command prompt

and how to restore regback this should help

This is what I do
X/ D: (it's the usb drive) autorun- setup.exe -etc
X/ c: (access is denied)
Copy c/win/sys/config (access is denied)
D: md c/win/sys/config/backup1 (seems to do it )
D: copy c/w/sys/config .. (access is denied)

That's why I'm not able to follow the other steps showed in the tutorial
ok sorry did not mean to a apply you are a noob at the command prompt

run the flowing command and post what disk you see listed

Code:
partdisk

Code:
list disk
I see
F dvd
C 900gb
? 200mb
? 800mb
E recovery 19gb
D esd usb 7gb
All healthy luckily..
Commands I used: diskpart listvolume, if there's a difference between os
Well by going on what you said. You won't have permission to do anything, why you would do that I don't know.
Backup and fresh install.
just to add here after reinstall it would be best to image your system
Ok I guess Sad so the only thing left to do here is a fresh re installation ;c

One final question can I do a backup? Or just use the usb image
if you have important data you can boot a Linux distro from a flash drive then you can backup photos document to an external hard drive

if you have no important data I would just reinstall windows from the flash drive windows 10 installation
