Wait...All this depends on what laptop. Give me an old one like a HP DV7 model and I will have that apart in no time. Some of these newer ones can be tricky with smaller, more fragile innards.
Yeah, that would almost be impossible for you both to have the same model for it to even be fair... Good idea though.
