what happens next if i don't seed?
nothing will happen
thank you Compton thread closed
Not seeding is classed as leaching. What is leaching you may ask? Well, torrents will only survive if people seed. If you leach the file you want to download will have low seeds and take forever to download. Seeding will share chunks of data of that file you download to others who want to download load it next, the more seeds the faster the download. it will only share chunks of data when the torrent client open. Well that's the way I have always thought it worked.
thank you britec09, if i don't seed, my download speed slows down?
no it will not slow the download speed just upload speed
oh ok thank you compton
Download speeds can slow down depending on the trackers being used in the torrent, if a tracker sees that you never seed, it can / will throttle your download speed through the torrent.

Ideally you should upload untill it reaches 1.00 this way you're giving back what you take. (1.00 is not that big a chunk)
I agree, share a little then you're not seen as a leach.
I do agree with Britec share a little but it sounds like  Britec when camping and got bit by a leech.or something just JK  Big Grin
