Hey Everyone,

On it's webpage it says:

Quote:Files On-Demand works with all the apps you use today, including Windows desktop apps and apps from the Windows Store. Furthermore, Files On-Demand works with all your personal and work files from OneDrive and SharePoint Online team sites.

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Learn-about-OneDrive-Files-On-Demand-0e6860d3-d9f3-4971-b321-7092438fb38e?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

I just want to clarify something.  When they say in particular:

Quote:Furthermore, Files On-Demand works with all your personal and work files from OneDrive and SharePoint Online team sites.

That doesn't mean that anyone can access your files on your computer if they also use Files On-Demand.  Rather only the users with F-OD on your network or with permission to use/see them, correct?  So the files on your computer are still safe?

I get very nervous about things that are not stated directly concerning software.  Thanks.
the person would only have access to files and folders you share on one drive

the files and folder on your computer are safe

Thanks CS. I've been reading some security bulletins and you'll turn paranoid after a while. Big Grin
There is a lot of scare mongering on the internet.
I trust it, I've been using it for years...
Yeah it's like all this nonsense with Kaspersky going on in the US about them having ties to the Russian government. The guy who started that company is a billionaire now.
Got that right Brian...
