windows 7 is a bit old but have less bugs than 10 and is more stable

an SSD would run better than windows because it optimises for a SSD

That's because Windows 10 isn't mature and will never be with all the build updates. Windows 8.1 blows both of them out the water.

In my opinion it's beyond unfair that they refused to give 8.1 DX12 support and stuff like speedshift even though the OS is still mainstream supported. No comment on blocking the updates for newer chipsets...

@GS By "patching" up I did mean slipstreaming, and in my opinion it's still not worth it for newer hardware.
