For the last few years, I have had only two favorite Antivirus/Malware Solutions. For years I knew of Comodo and have bypassed it many many times. I now have three favorite solutions...

Anyone on the forum have any opinions or input about Comodo?
I had put Comodo to the test once with its default settings and it did well. It wasn't a thorough test but still, it can be customized to make it a powerful defense solution

Thanks for the input there Partha...
I used to like Comodo many aeons ago now but they eventually went the way of many and became bloated and layered with unnecessary software which they wanted you to install, so I went off them. Pity, coz at that time it was a decent product. Not used it since though.
I was a big user of Comodo products mainly the Firewall but like GS said it become bloated and very heavy on system resources. The security is still tighter than a ducks arse.
The layered security on it is very good and Antivirus was pretty good too. You either like or you don't. I have since gone back to my old school favourite Firewall ZoneAlarm free version.

I guess they have changed it since then. The other software that I assume that they forced you to install then is now optional.

Thanks for the input GS!!

Welcome
For me nothing better than a free Antivirus Software and Comodo is one of the best in these free. I see that this software runs off an engine that is quite stable and robust, and can handle almost everything. It's detection rate is excellent, any suspicious or strange behavior on your computer system will be scanned and found out. However, there is some minor disruptions may occur while opening large files, but it happens very rarely. The only thing I don't like about Comodo is its alert and notifications, pretty annoying, but I guess what else you can expect from a free system.
Yeah, a lot of free software do that like Avast. They want you to buy the full version.
