In attempt to update my dell inspiron 8130 laptop, I installed a program named 'SlimDrivers'. The program scanned my computer after finding the necessary updates the program installed all updates then suggested that all updates were successfully installed and the System was good to go.

When restarting my laptop I was greeted by a XP OS that will barely move from program to program and takes too long to open browser.

Can you give me direction as to how I might go about restoring this situation. I'm aware that the drivers on this machine were in dire need of update. (very early XP install)
If there is a website with original or updated drivers from DELL that would be terrific. I have a service tag number for the system.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
use system restore to restore system before SlimDrivers was use

no need to be using SlimDrivers
Hi GrandPaMoore,

As Compton suggests if you can do a restore then great otherwise you may have difficulty in future when you update the system at all.

If you have your service tag you can try to find your product here ; http://www.dell.com/support/home/uk/en/ukbsdt1/products?app=drivers

There is also the go to chance of getting the correct drivers but you would have to know exactly what drivers you wish to update ;
