I have followed instructions re changing Group Policy settings. I thought it had worked, but alas it is back again. Why does Microsoft make it so difficult to get rid of useless unwanted unnecessary, not sure what they are called, items, and why do they force them on users? Is there any way to get rid of it. Thanks.

PS is there anyway to stop searching the internet from the start menu, when all I want to do is search my computer? I have tried the suggested Group Policy settings change for that as well, without success. One last one, when I click on the Microsoft Edge, before going to my Home Page, which I have set, I get the Blue Screen with the Edge Logo. Don't know if everyone gets this? Cheers

If you go into windows 10 settings then personalisation it has the option to turn lock screen on and off the link below should have you covered.

And as for your searching problem this link will help you out.

Thank you for that. I was getting really really angry, more because the picture was being forced on me than the picture itself and I could not do anything about it.  Although, I did not look at the picture anyway. Microsoft must do well in a dictatorship!
I have covered all these fixes on my Youtube channel.
