I keep getting a popup window while surfing.
"missing divxmain dll"
I did install divx but didnt like it and uninstalled it again.

Now this happens. Is there a place in the registry or someplace to disable it?
Or maybe a free cleaner software?
Thanks
Hi Hobo,

Firstly backup any important data!

Secondly, It seems you have some leftover files from the uninstall, I would suggest you download and run Everything 1.3.4.686, download the portable zip for either 64bit or 32bit, extract the files and run it as administrator.

Then search for div and if anything comes up from Program Files (x86) or Program files, delete it!

If you are unsure about deleting something, take a snapshot using the Snipping Tool and post it on the forum

All deleted and divxmain.dll shows no results.
I will reboot and see weather I still get this popup window.
Thanks
