Hello community, today i have one Macbook Pro 13.3 from 2011, and the display doesn't appear nothing, im trying to remove battery cable for 5 minutes and remove video cable on logic board and reset SMC, NVRAM, PRAM and nothing works. Well the screen inside doesn't look cracked but.... but... i ask for my friend he said i drop 5 times but the last time screen doesn't turn on...
My conclusion it is screen himself cracked insde or is backlight (I hope not because i need to order soldering iron and everything to do that.) I need some advice or any suggestions,

Best Regards,

Going to be hard to say what's wrong with the laptop without looking and testing.
Dropping it 5 times does not sound good.
  • Has it got any visible damage?
  • Any activity from the laptop? ie sounds, lights, hard drive making noises etc etc
  • Or is it dead?
Yes i can hear the apple song, and the cooler fan etc... Battery status etc... DVD/CD Drive song... etc...
Has it got any visible damage? You're going to need to tear it down and investigate and test. Looks like could be a screen issue.

Try connecting the laptop to an external monitor to see if you get a display. If you do then most likely you need to replace the screen.
Usually a dropped laptop results in broken bulbs in my experience, are there any noises when you tip the laptop from side to side?
