Full Version: Run Outlook 2016 as Admin

Hi,

So I did a clean install of windows 10..
I Struggled configuring Outlook, it sends but does not receive.
This is a "Standard User Profile" if I run Outlook as "Admin" it works fine.

I tried creating an Outlook shortcut and making a tick on the "Run as Administrator"
but everytime I run Outlook it asks for the Admin password?

Help, thanks.
*UPDATE*

Uninstalling Office and reinstalling never helped.
I changed the user into an "Administrator Account" and surprisingly it still didn't work.
After I switched the account back to "Standard User" I went into Control Panel\mail
and erased the entire PROFILE and created everything from scratch.

*My bad - I was removing the email account and uninstalling Office but I hadn't tried erasing the Profile 100%

Have you got all your settings right? does it give you an error and if so whats the code?
can you post a screen shot?
you can tell your error code? what did you do?
