I am going to invest in a new computer repair toolbox and I would like to know a reliable toolbox for every day life that works with both Desktops and Laptops

It's tough to find a everything in one toolbox that supports all of the different makes and models of computers. The Pro Tech Toolbox is a great choice especially when dealing with phones, tablets, macs and laptops however there is a full gamete of other tools that may be needed besides that in certain situations.
Eclipse-Tools-1PK-1700NA-Electronics-Master may not be a common every day toolbox but when added with the Pro Tech Toolbox I would imagine it would cover all of your needs.

I would buy all your tool a bit at a time. Get better quality that way. What sort of tools you after?
