Good Day,

I have a laptop hard drive that will not boot up. Removed from the laptop and put in an enclosure. The disk can be seen in disk management with 465.76 Unallocated and shows Disk 5 Basic Online. I cannot assign a drive letter or access the files on the drive. Is there anything I can do to retrieve the data on the drive at this point.

Run a Linux live CD or USB and see if you can access it to grab the data off of it...

You can try this if you have lost or deleted your partitions.

Thanks everyone for your help.. I did end up purchasing Easeus Recovery manager. It worked like a charm.
