Ending the task in Task Manager did not work with the scam that I had. I tried that several times to end task for Microsoft Edge, but it kept coming back every time I got back into Edge. Clearing Local Temp folder is what worked. If not I was going to try resetting Microsoft Edge. In the process found out that my utilities that reset browsers do not include Microsoft Edge, thus would have to do it manually. I googled it and apparently there is a scam for Microsoft Edge. Chrome and Internet Explorer did not get inflected.
