Before we can help you any further we will need a little more in depth specs of your system. you can do this by going to the following site and downloading speccy at this link https://www.piriform.com/speccy/builds
step 1. Once you enter the link select download thats located underneath Speccy-Portable
step 7. once you are back in your download folder you should see the 2 files below. what needs to be done next is opening the file after determining if your system is 32bit or 64bit
step 8. once speccy is open youll need to click on file located on the top left of the speccy software once the dropdown menu is displayed select publish snapshot

hi Compton
I did a system restore before I came on this also I uninstalled the drivers and disabled the dvd drive did a restart and searched for new hardware
and got the same result as now I don't know what else I could do so that's why I went on this forum for help
thanks just the same as you did not know what I have already tried to do
I am guessing that it something to do with the registry files but when I am not sure and I don't like touching it because in the past
I killed the os system and I had to reinstall everything on the hard drive I was very lucky I had not got a lot on the hard drive
when I had to do that
yes I have got a backup but it bit old by 3 months as the hard drive is getting nearly 75% full now and it takes over 18 hours to backup
I want to backup this drive when everything is working right again so I could be safe to go on holiday but it was not so I am using it now
on holiday and I can only go online for a short amount time each day
