Hi. Just had my utility HP mobo fry which was running Windows Vista and need to get to some utilities I had installed there. Is there a way to virtualize the hard drive to run in Oracle Vitualbox if I hook up the drive to my other PC with a SATA to USB connector? I tried once with Disk2VHD but didn't have good results. Appreciate any advice. Thx!!
Hi Tony, Welcome to the forum.

You could remove the hard drive and put it in a docking station or enclosure.

1. BLACK 2.5 SATA to USB HARD DRIVE CADDY HDD CASE ENCLOSURE

2. 3.5" 2.5" SATA + IDE HDD HARD DRIVE DISK DOCK DOCKING STATION USB HUB E-SATA

Thx. I had already figured that, but what preferred method would you use to virtualize? I had not had good success with disk2vhd and if possible would like to avoid the Windows activation issues which plague some of my virtualizations.
