Hi guys,

could someone let me know how important it is to keep drivers up to date and if there is a convenient way to do this?

Im just on a new windows 10 pc with a nice graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 (MSI)
and I wanted to test it, by downloading unigine heaven benchmark

https://unigine.com/products/benchmarks/heaven/

and when I installed it, it didnt run, got some .dll missing errors. (I think)

I wonder if this is to do with out of date drivers, something to do with directx or opengl, Im just not sure.

any advice?

Many thanks,
Juno
Try downloading and installing Visual c++ from Microsoft and see if that clears up that error when running Heaven.

Windows 10 usually does a pretty good job of keeping your system drivers updated however I would use NVIDIA GeForce Experience to keep your graphics driver up to date.

Thanks, I'll give it a go,
Does that make any difficult to reverse/ irreversible changes to my setup? or is it likely to stop anything else that works right now from working?
just create a system restore before doing any changes
