I am researching which desktop pc to purchase. I am down to two:
1. Dell xps x8900-2508BLK. I7-6700, 3.4 ghz, 16 gig DDR4, 1 tb, GeForce GT730. Currently going for around $850 - $890.
2. Cybertron PC: AMD FX 6300, 3.5 ghz, 6 core processor, 16 gig DDR3, 1 TB, Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 2GB. Currently going for $750.
I am familiar with Dell, and believe I should be satisfied with the Dell xps x8900 model. However, I am not familiar with Cybertronpc's. Are they reliable, and worth the money? I usually go for AMD processors as they are cheaper and have been led to believe they are also excellent processors, and cheaper due to no name recognition.
QUESTION: Is there anyone on the forum familiar with Cybertron computers, and if yes, is this model comparable with the Dell Intel I7 model? The only difference I can see is the Cybertronpc does not have a memory card reader, which is not a show stopper. And also is Cybertronpc a reputable manufacturer producing quality products?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. My skill level is above par - have a part time business of repairing Windows based computers, but just not familiar with Cybertronic. Am looking for a top end machine that does not cost an arm and a leg as I am retired and definitely not rich. Last computer was purchased in 2009 and still has Vista on it. Thus need to either upgrade operating system or purchase a new computer. After 8 years, time to buy new.
Again, thanks to anyone responding to this post.
