Full Version: FileZilla Server: How to fix 'Error, could not connect to server'

Do you have a FileZilla Server on your computer? and you are receiving the following error message:

Lucky for you, today I will show you how to resolve that error message and get your server back up and running. The reason you are getting that error message is because the 'FileZilla Server FTP server' Service is not running.

Lets Begin!

Windows 7 Users:
Click the Start Button, type Run in the Search Box and Select Run

Once the run appears, type services.msc in the run box and click OK.

Inside Services, scrowl down until you see FileZilla Server FTP server and then double click it.

Finally, Select start and click OK.
[attachment=2061]
The service should now be running
[attachment=2062]

Windows 8 & 10 Users:
Right Click the start button and select run.
[attachment=2063]
Then follow the same process above.

Your Server should now be working and you can get back into uploading, downloading and files from and to your file server. Your FTP Server should look like this if it is working:
