Hi Lynnne,

Thanks for contacting Britec Tech Support Forum!

So first of all, your title "Help Needed" is poor, from your description, you want to downgrade Windows 10 to Windows 8.1:

Admins please change  the thread title to "Downgrade from Windows 10 to 8.1

Secondly, before we begin to help you downgrade your system, please post your full system specs using speecy, please follow Brian's tutorial on how to do that:

Was Windows 8.1 originally installed on that computer when you got it? Because when you upgrade to Windows 10 Microsoft lets you have the option to rollback from Windows 10 for up to 30 days. You can downgrade after 30 days...but you would need to do a clean install. But first need to know if this was upgraded from another version of Windows.
Lynnne, previously you created a new thread with your system specs which was required for this thread, please can you uploaded them to this thread please and in future do that for any other threads you create.

No it came with Windows 10 ready installed.
In that case, if this is a proper install of Windows 10 and not a upgrade,  you would need to buy a new Windows 8.1 product key.
