Hello and my laptop went successfully thru the free upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7. I want to put a ssd drive in this laptop. I have found the 25 digit product key for windows 10 on this laptop. I have downloaded the windows 10 iso image from Microsoft. Should I do a clean install of windows 10 on the new ssd or should I clone the c drive in the laptop to the new ssd? I have never done this before so I would like advice on this and thank you for your advice in advance. Dennis

its better to do a clean of windows 10 onto the SSD make sure you backup all important data
what you  could do is to make a image of windows 10 before doing a clean install of windows 10
