Windows 10 Anniversary Edition Internet Explorer 11 HP Pavilion Laptop
There's an extremely annoying new feature I'd like to get rid of. When trying to read a webpage that contains a video, as you scroll down trying to read the article, the video comes out of its fixed position and tracks/scrolls down the page sometimes covering the text you're trying to read. If you click the close 'X' you're taken back to the top of the article. As you re-begin reading, the video pop-out syndrome begins anew. These are not pop-up ads, they are news reports with corresponding text articles. Couple this with autoplay, and it's a total nightmare.
Is there a way to STOP these videos from chasing you down the screen as you're trying to read? It happens on most Fox News articles. I don't even want to read anymore !!! Very frustrating.
I don't know what element of my system is the culprit. Windows 10 per se? Anniversary Edition? I'd be grateful if you know of a fix. Microsoft told me it can't be changed. Can't they at least have created something their customers could control?
