Full Version: Win10 Explorer Crashes

Hello,

I ran into an issue with windows 10. Whenever I right click on any item in the left-hand colum of windows explore, it crashes. https://youtu.be/SUsgeMECsM0

This issue started following win10's forced install while I was away. MS tech support has no idea how to resolve the issue stating it is caused by some other program. However, the only other programs I have are related to antimalware. Malwarebytes, Avas, and my off site back up software from Carbonite. Windows 10, upon force installing killed all my USB ports. https://youtu.be/PnHcO87Mh8U I had to do a fresh install of windows 10 to resolve the issue.

Shortly thereafter windows 10 did an update, for their cloud service, and that is when epxlorer started to give me issues. Again MS tech support out ot Texas cannot help me to resolve the issue. I have ran sfc /scannow and it comes up with no errors. I have scanned each drive in my system and they are all working perfectly. (I have 240 ssd for OS, 1 120 SSD dump for videos, 2tb and 1 tb for storage.

I also run a seagate 2tb portable drive for recording video too.

Any ideas on how to fix this error would be greatly appreciated. I should note that sometimes Explorer won't even populate the page and when that happens, and it is happening mroe frequently, it will often hard crashes the system forcing me into do a hard shut down and reboot. I am very dissappointed by windows 10 and microsoft because of this. While I like windows 10 os, I do not like these unresolved issues. So any help that anyone can provide in resolving them would be greatly appreciated.

I apologize. Wrong forum for this type of issue. Although it would be a good video.
I looked over the link you provided. Thank you. IT seems that I have three programs that do cause issues. Malwarebytes, Spybot, and Carbonite. Whoops... I have forwarded the issue to Carbonite Tech support as well as the others. But expect no action. Again thank you for the link.
