The problem with screen cap software is that it is really hit and miss, what I mean is that fraps will run really well on my current PC but my old one was unable to handle it for no reason. I tried camtasia for a while but it slowed down my PC a lot and so I decided to go back to fraps because it only dropped my fps by 10 frames.
