Since I had never used ASUS Q-Fan in AI Suite until very recently(after 24 years....sheesh)I never paid any attention to CPU idle Temps.With a push\pull Asetek cooler on my older machine with the Q9650 idle temp is around 39- 41 degree's Centigrade.Is that normal?Intel's web site only shows the tCase Temp(71.4 C).In a decent game it runs around high 50's to mid 60's.

The machine is a mid tower(Deepcool Dukase)so I'm guessing that since it's a 95 watt CPU that it operates at a higher temp normally?

Thank you for your help. Oh,I just noticed that the idle temp on all but 1 core is 45 degrees with this site up.

39C to 41c That seems like normal temps for that type of CPU. 

Try SpeedFan and post log or share screen shot of temps please.
