If your like I am, at some point you have had your PC wired to the network and still got wireless speeds. well I  am going to show you how to fix that. And it is so easy.

First you will want to bring up the Run
window and type in the box ncpa.cpl
and click ok.

So now you should see the network connections window.
Ok now you need to press the ALT key and this should give you more options to choose from including the advanced tab, that you will want to click on.

Now choose the advanced setting. That you will see in the drop down menu.

Ok you will have a choice in network connections. So if you want to make your PC(laptop)  use a wired connection, even though you are still connected to a  wireless network, choose Wi-Fi and click the down arrow.

Ok Ethernet should be at the top of the list.

Sorry for updating this topic, but I just want to say that this doesn't work on Windows 10 Anniversary Update due to lack of Adapters and Bindings tab. I tried doing that today and well... doesn't seem possible
