I have a laptop with windows vista home premium 64bit that has a dual core processor and 4gb of ram, utorrent is currently installed but when i launch utorrent it shows up weird and tells me that its not responding, any idea why this is happening all of a sudden?

I would uninstall and reinstall Utorrent
Scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Please download
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop.
- Install the progam and select update.
- Once updated, click the Settings tab, in the left panel choose Detctions & protection and tick Scan for rootkits.
- Click the Scan tab, choose Threat Scan is checked and click Scan Now.
- If threats are detected, click the Apply Actions button. You will now be prompted to reboot. Click Yes.
- Upon completion of the scan (or after the reboot), click the History tab.
- Click Application Logs and double-click the Scan Log.
- At the bottom click Export and choose Text file.
Save the file to your desktop and include its content in your next reply.
Try uninstalling and re-installing utorrent.
I uninstalled utorrent using iobit uninstaller so i could make sure all the utorrent files were gone and then i restarted the pc and reinstalled utorrent after the pc was set to an idle, as soon as i opened the app i got this [
attachment=1300] for 7 minutes and the the app works perfect after that
Sounds like you have some system resource issues there.
Yeah after a few minutes it starts working compton. Timster how can i solve the resource issue?

how much startup items do you have enable?

Open "Task Manager" and got to the "Performance" tab and observe your resources (cpu cores, Memory and disk activity) as you open utorrent.
