How do I map a drive with UAC enabled? Is it normal to get a "folder destination access denied" error when trying to copy files to and from network drives? I am running win 7 pro x64
I have never used UAC very much until now, so I'm not used to these errors.
In the sharing section make sure "Allow network-users to change files" is checked.

Where do I find that setting in win 7?
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings

if that don't help, try this.

Right click >Hard Drive in network>,choose sharing / advanced sharing / permissions

change group name to everyone
