Windows 10 has built in Xbox recording software.....and mic pick-up. - you want the last one in the weblink- I tested it - its very good, You don't need a xbox console.

I second that on the xbox software I tested it for the insider program.

I use Open Broadcaster Software and it's really nice... has a lot of features and is absolutely free
