Full Version: win 10 updates

updates seem to not be working on win 10 i let it update ( Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems ( Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3147458) and it loads up then restarts but i keep getting a message that it has not finished but i went through this at lease 10 times and it keeps telling me i have updates now is there a problem with that update ( Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3147458 because im ready to turn off updates in services is there a fix for this problem .
open command as Administrator

run this command sfc /scannow

i ran that command sfc /scannow and it still does the same thing i have like 20 of that update that failed and i still keep getting more notices of the update.

I had the same problem. This is what I did.

Create a restore point.

Then navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads

Delete everything in the downloads folder (you may get the UAC, just click OK)

Now go to your windows updates and check again for updates. It should start download and installing.

I had the same problem. This is what I did.
