Full Version: 0xc00000428 cannot verify digital signature

okay TopFreeware  here is bad news the 3 commends didn't work and the 0xc00000428 error is still there said something about driver not having a Signature which btw there are no rootkits in the 1st hard drive at all
0xc00000428 cannot verify digital signature.


These types of errors are hard to diagnose and we need as much information how and when it all started, so we can understand and help you better.


1.       At what stage do you get this error message?
2.       What type of third party security programs have you got installed on the computer? (if Any)
3.       Can you remember what changes were made to the computer prior to the issue happening?
 
Please try and disconnect all your external devices (external drives, printers, web cam, scanner, any type of USB device) You can leave Keyboard and mouse plugged in and try and boot up. 

important: If the issue goes away and problem is solved, then just plug in one device at a time and continue to reboot each time, until problem comes back, then you know which device is causing the error. 


Also temporarily remove any third party security programs to see if this solve your issue.

i found the file its ntoskrnl.exe but i tried to a CP but i feel i got the wrong Command can someone show me what Command is to fix the file

do you want the boot.ini file to see if everything is alright i remember there a for commend for it i think its xp only expand d:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ c:\windows\system32
What was the outcome of running sfc /scannow ?

windows need to rebooted because a repair in progress it keep doing that even if i reboot the system
