Hey, I had a problem with my old Windows 8 laptop. I accidentally downloaded a virus and I had a really bad antivirus. I wanted to do a full system recovery. But after it was done I turned it on and said "Windows failed to re-install" or something like that. Any help?
maybe your recovery partition got corrupted by the virus can you take a screenshot of the error

I can't get a screenshot and I can't find an example image.
Ok, I think it would be best if you do a clean install by downloading windows 8 ISO writing it to a flash drive and reinstall windows 8
