Is there a free home version upgrade of windows 10 for Vista? On this particular machine there is no icon on the taskbar to get windows 10 as it does on machine running 0S 7, & 8. Any Solutions?

Only windows 7-8.1 have the free windows 10 upgrade

Unless and until its Windows 7 or 8.1 licensed copy it will not allow you to upgrade Windows 10.
Windows Vista licenses are not allowed to upgrade. If you upgrade a Windows Vista machine to the Windows 10 preview, it’ll remain on the unstable.
