Is there a way to retrieve the windows 8 product key. My laptop came with windows 8 and I updated to windows 10.And then I formatted my hard drive and put windows 10 back on my pc and now I want to run windows 8 along side windows 10. I have a windows 8 disk but no product key.

Ok, this how it works when you upgrade to windows 10 your windows 8 product is automatically transferred to Windows 10 what this mean you can only use windows 8 product key on one system at a time
