Hello again Gentlemen, Another question for you, I am currently running windows 8.1 Pro on one of my laptops, I have 3 laptops and 4 desktops, all genuine software, my question is:

If I upgrade one of my 8.1 laptops to windows 10, can I (if you know) take that 8.1 install, (which is a purchased install with a key), and move the 8.1 to another desktop running Windows 7, and install with the given key, and do it successfully without hurting the windows 10 install, or the new 8.1 install. Can I do this without harm?

If you mean to use the free upgrade that Microsoft is offering you on that Windows 8.1 machine, then no. Once you upgrade that machine from 8.1 to Windows 10, I don't think your be able to use the Windows 8 key on another machine, unless I read it wrong.
