Hi guys.

I need to get a 'first' gaming PC for a young gamer. The budget is around £500. I have found these PCs and wondered which would be a better choice? The only requirement is wifi enabled and to be able to run most Steam Games without lag.

PC #1:

CPU and Memory:

Intel Core i5 quad core.
I5-4460.
Processor speed 3.2GHz.
8GB RAM.
Hard drive:

1TB SATA-III hard drive.
DVD optical drives:

Dual layer.
Graphics:

Shared graphics.
Intel HD Graphics 4600 intel hd graphics 4600 with 1000MB memory.

PC #2:

CPU and Memory:

Intel Core i3 dual core.
I3-4170.
Processor speed 3.7GHz.
8GB RAM.
Hard drive:

1TB SATA-III hard drive.
DVD optical drives:

Dual layer.
Graphics:

Dedicated graphics.
NVIDIA GeForce gtx-750ti 1gb ddr5 with 1000MB memory.

Incidentally, PC#2 is £50 more expensive than PC #1 due to the dedicated graphics. But surely an i5 is better right?
I would go with something like this, did not spend to long on specs, so could trim and do better with more time. 16GB Memory and Skylake architecture 25% to 30% better than older architecture, so they claim.
