Hi all and thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully help, i think i've made a mistake and activated bitlocker on my c drive which has locked me out. i followed the instructions rebooted and it asks for the recovery key which i have and it matches the ID shown on the screen, when entered its not recognized, ive been into cmd and its says c is not encrypted and not locked . When i tried to reboot its says c is locked im at a bit of a loss, can anyone help?

Yes i did, Ive used the command prompt manage-bde -protectors c: -get to find the recovery key and all info but it comes back ERROR: No key protectors found.

Have you tried System Restore

yes but its showing no previous restore point
