I did such for Skype :"C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /shutdown as shortcut target .I wonder if i can do the same with Discord program,i tryed and it didnt worked.( I am using Windows 7)

thanks in advance for your answers !Smile
You should be able to do it from>Start Orb>All programs>Right click on the program>Send to>Desktop (shortcut)
I need a shortcut to close /shutdown/kill the program -not a simple shortcut .
thanks!

Hi Windstorm,

I just read on Discord's forum that Alt and F4 if pressed together closes the application fully, if that helps as a workaround for now.

Someone has already made a suggestion to have a way of closing the app directly from the interface and the idea has received 228 votes. Link to that page is https://feedback.discordapp.com/forums/326712-discord-dream-land/suggestions/10309140-add-an-option-to-fully-close-discord-on-x
