Viruses have been removed.  When I try to create a restore point it says c: drive not found????  I have done  eset, mwb, hitmanpro, tsk, junkremoval, roguekiller etc.  and rebooted numerous times.

Any idea why this would show up??

Thanks,

mike
you are going to need a boot cd for this type of trouble i ask my boss about it
Ok, Thanks for the help Guys.

I was getting the error message "Error - The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect. (0x8007007B), when trying to configure restore points.

Here are the steps I used to get the system restore feature back to "normal".

1. In the System Protection tab, click the missing drive
2. Click the Configure button and turn off system protection
3. Click the drive with the Windows logo
4. Click the Configure button and turn on system protection
5. Click OK to close the System Protection tab.

Things seem to be back to normal with the machine.

Did I miss anything?

Thanks again everyone.

Enjoy the day.

Mike
