let windows 10 take over SSD are fast enough already I don,t think you need to optimize

Alright thats good i was like man i just wanna instal the drive and os then etc and thats it and just use for my needs and what not so thats good news

My ssd came in today and is installed in my laptop and besides an operator error everthing is good to go
Why i said operator error is because when i installed windows i forgot to enable secure boot which i didn't realize until after windows was installed but i cleaned the ssd afterwards, enabled secure boot and then began to instal windows 10

Oh sorry i miss read what you asked me, but no i just got the ssd

ok you will need one if you want use 500GB hard drive for backup cloning and imaging
