The product key for windows 8 i am using was previously installed on an another computer that was upgraded to windows 10,so i thought that i could use the windows 8 key on a different computer so after installing windows 8 on a different computet with the product key i am speaking of i get an error message stating the product key is already in use so what should i do?

You can not transfer a Windows 8 key to different computers.
