Hi, sorry I've been Idle for so long. I've been working a lot and since I'm a union rep I end up being busy a lot.
The answer to the Asus Win 8.1 problem losing the recovery drives is to download the Asus Recovery Tool from the support website and it will make a USB recovery drive for you to fix the problem. Once I used a 16gig drive to use as a recovery drive and refreshed windows using it, I've had no problems. Worked like a Charm.
After I had read through the 24 pages of posts for the fix the one person sent me, at the very end there was a link for the recovery drive tool.
