not a spammer
The link https://briteccomputers.co.uk/downloads/BritecRecoveryConsole.iso still goes to your Page Not Found error.
Is there actually a downloads page? It isn’t mentioned in any of the menus on the home page.
I also found a filedropper link, but that too is dead.
updated with working link
doesnt work………. 0kb file
updated 🙂
Thank you so much. I had lost hope that I would have to start over on my hard drive with a new XP install and lose everything in the process. The only thing that I had to do twice was to actually do an image burn of the downloaded file onto a CD-R instead of just a copy/burn. I am well on my way to repairing things.
Glad it helped you out.
Finally!, i found a copy! thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
your welcome
Thank you!! This is exactly what i was looking for, much appreciated that you still give XP some love!
Your welcome.
the link does not work, gives me an ssl error..
The link works fine for me.
Can i use this recovery iso as USB bootable, i tried burn iso using UNetbootin but no use it wont show up in bootable hdd F12 boot menu.
Yes, just make sure its bootable.
ya its bootable as per magiciso showing bootable but i tried unetbootin but no luck can you try and confirm
I have been trying to download the free copy of a bootable xp recovery console iso, for the last two hours!!! Have been to the main site and the Utube link and neither work, Had to even select a new browser, and after the browser dowloaded, the link back to the site was not there! so still didnt work. Can anybody please give me a hyperlink that will actually work for this download? Or is this just another scam to get people viewing a web site?

I used Unetbootin on Linux to make my USB Stick bootable with this iso, but upon booting up it displays the window titled Unetbootin and only the default boot option. Underneath it counts down 10s until automatic boot, but every time it reaches 0 or if you hit enter it just starts counting again from 10s.
I’ve booted the same computer from the same USB stick with other ISOs, so there must be something wrong with this ISO file. I’d appreciate if this could be fixed as I’m travelling and left my Windows CD at home!
Please post on my forum for support
Downloaded and put burned with imageburn. It doesn’t boot. What am I doing wrong?
Post on forum for support.
I too have tried 3 times now, and iso keeps giving me a line 6968 invalid,,, something about “setup text document” press any key to exit.

Thanks mate for sharing this awesome tool recovery.
I don’t need to pay the hussle of downloable one in a site.
what’s the admin password?
will this worked to restore Win XP Pro Edition or no?
Yes
what am i doing wrong, it write ……something missing status 14
Thanks; I know we were told to update to Windows 7, but as I had disconnected to the Internet, I didn’t think it was necessary. But one small question: Is it normal for the System Restore Wizard to become disabled along with a few other applications such as my Dell CyberLink PowerDVD DX movie reader after such a restoration, or did I do something wrong? I also can’t use Deep Freeze System Profiler.
This recovery console ISO does not produce a bootable disk!
Worked perfect, thanks.
