0x45d error

I only see the 0x45d error when I try to restore the system to factory default via the acer recovery manager
ok then you have a corrupted factory restore partition
you do have corrupt system files and you got that because of the factory restore partition how did you get that it may be because of the hard drive if the system is working with no mayer problems backup your data and continue monitoring the hard drive if you have the money I would just replace the HDD before it go from caution to bad
the only error codes I get on the system is when I try and open jpegs etc, and how would I go about repairing the recovery partion, because as I stated it is a preloaded system and I have no discs, as for the hard drive it is a 2TB that is partitioned to Acer C) Data (E) and I also have a System Reserved (D) but not sure where that came from.
you can.t repair the recovery partition sorry you have
2 option order a recovery media from the laptop company or buy a windows 7 installation DVD but I would backup up your data before doing anything else also replace the HDD

well replacing the hdd is not a option at the moment, as it would add extra cost, cost for the HDD and cost for a new copy of windows as this is a pre installed OEM version from ACER

ok I would not put any important data on that hard drive
hope that the hard drive last on still you get money to replace it

one more question if I may, I have managed to un hide my PQservice partion via command prompt and all partions show heathly. I have assign a drive letter, if I made a bootable USB of the drive if possible, what is the chances of it actually working correctly and doing a full restore. I also have a Acer Laptop with the same operating system, could that recovery method also work?
ok you are asking if you create a boot able recovery media ?
on to a flash Drive will it complete successfuly I will say its a 50 50 chance you have Create a recovery USB flash drive with Acer eRecovery Management https://acer--uk.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/14303/~/create-a-recovery-usb-flash-drive-with-acer-erecovery-management-5.x |
