You are welcome. It could mean that there is a third party application or a driver causing this, as the safe mode doesn't load any third-party software or drivers
Do you remember making any changes recently to your system? It could be a software that you installed

Try googling the model number of the monitor you are using and see what had been said about it in forums good or bad but defiantly pay attention to if the same issue you have hasnt already been discussed and fixed
scan for viruses and
See if it happens in safemode.
Safe mode is a very handy option when it comes to problems with computers because safemode really helps if its a software or hardware related issue
