Did repair install of Windows 7 again. Can access telephone activation. Cannot access external HDD (backup) or any external USB media. wifi icon disappeared. Avast anti-virus services will not run. repair install of Avast didn't fix Avast. Malwarebytes services won't run. reinstall didn't fix. Malwarebytes Anti-rootkit won't run. reinstall didn't fix. computer takes 10 minutes to restart. windows update keeps trying to install 6 updates which fail. cannot access windows update. Up s**ts creek now!!!!!! ANY IDEAS other than Factory Reset, if that works??
