New virus on windows 10?

Hello.

A friend of mine contacted me today asking for help removing a virus which loads and plays ads in the background without opening a browser or other window.

So far, no matter what is done, it likes to recreate itself on reboot. Windows 10 reports it as 'nine' but it shows up as gruffaws.exe. Even manual deletion of the file did not fix the issue.

Malware Bytes has been run and did not succeed, Hitman Pro is downloading as we speak.

If you have any other ideas, help is appreciated.
