SO...then I did a "Logoff" To reset all apps. Shows up..but in the next hr or 30mins...its "gone" restart its there for 20mins? @least 30mins....No I have no Virus...I have done..nothing new...Anything I use Sandbox..for stuff..(Brower, tools/apps)..But can be a error? But..I dunno!
Please give me feed back..Hopefully its nothing to bad...I can deal with!

I had this with a customers Toshiba laptop...
Sound would be there, restarted and no sound. Every now and again it would come back.
Performed a BIOS update and works fine now.

You don't say what OS but try this:
Right click Task bar
Select Properties
Select Customize button
Select Volume and make sure it says "Show icon and notifications"
Just to be sure check the box that says "Always show all icons and notifications in Task bar"

I'm confused. Are you losing sound when the icon disappears?
Next time it happens check the device manager and see if the audio adapter is listed.

This may sound a bit stupid but have you tried upgrading your soundcard drivers and checking that you are using the correct speakers in control panel?
