some kind of crypto lock - kjh71can - 05-11-2015

when I try and change permissions on my c drive ect files/folders, I get failed to enemurate objects in the container, then access denied, and i have to keep pressing ok, like a lock is in place

and recycle bin is corrupted after resetting it with cmd

How about installing Take Ownership and see if that helps to change the permissions.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool x64 and save it to your Desktop.
  • Right-click on [Image: FRST.png] icon and select [Image: RunAsAdmin.jpg] Run as Administrator to start the tool.
    (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Make sure that Addition option is checked.
  • Press Scan button and wait.
  • The tool will produce two logfiles on your desktop: FRST.txt and Addition.txt.
